Faith
Someone else's garden
Will allure and invite.
A distant-sun forbidden,
Can fill with delight.

Light on the horizon,
Looks tempting at night.
The refuge of the raven
Seems worth a good flight.

But the seed you don't sow
Is impossible to tend.
The orb that's not your glow
Will fade in the end.

The daybreak you don't crow
The sun it will rend.
The peace you don't already know
Will vanish in the wind.

You are all you seek,
So have faith in your star,
From atop your own peak,
You can see very far.
